REX is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) to join our growing team. If you are customer-focused, have a consultative problem-solving approach, and can communicate productively via multiple channels, we want to hear from you! The ISS is the first point of contact with many prospective customers, and we want to create a great first impression that builds trust to ensure prospects continue along the customer journey and ultimately choose to utilize REX’s services. We are seeking motivated individuals who are willing to work hard to delight customers, exceed goals, and grow a meaningful career with our company.

The Work

  • Delight our customers!
  • Comply with REX policies and all BRE/legal statutes
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to drive conversions from Web inquiries
  • Partner with the sales team to secure new customer appointments, and generate sales activity reports
  • Understand customer needs, qualify prospective customers, discuss sales solutions, and field customer questions with the goal of landing a sales appointment
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information by email
  • Keeping up with solution and service information and updates
  • Staying informed about competing products and services
  • Capture customer contact information, develop a rigorous follow-up schedule and identify additional lead avenues in order to meet monthly conversion goals
  • Complete a minimum of 60 outbound calls per shift 
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure shifts are adequately covered 
  • Respond to all leads promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • You have appropriate remote work set-ups - such as quiet space and stable internet connection or are able to come into the office for the entirety of a shift

…all with the goal of converting prospective REX buyers and sellers into satisfied customers, while exemplifying the REX brand during every interaction!

What You Need

  • 3+ years experience in a fast-paced, high-volume sales role
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including some evenings and weekends
  • Energized and motivated by a fast-growing business that is constantly evolving
  • Empathetic with an ability to adapt your communication style to your audience
  • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and customer activity via CRM required
  • Proven track record building relationships quickly by phone via a consultative, rapport-building approach required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build solid relationships required
  • A high degree of professionalism, able to remain calm and rational in times of confusion, rapid change or pressure required
  • Proven consultative phone sales experience required, with real estate consultative phone sales experience being a huge plus
  • Proficiency in Web-based productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google hangouts, Google docs/sheets, etc. is required
  • Ability to converse with both buyers and sellers, assess customer needs, and provide REX-branded solutions in a primarily outbound dialing environment required
  • Exhibit REX’s brand attributes: creative and innovative problem solver with the desire to be an industry changer while making the buying and selling of real estate better for consumers
  • Active real estate license a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

REX sets aside a portion of all income from selling homes to fund homes for families in need. Our mission is to contribute one home for every 50 homes we sell. We started in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, where we partnered with World Housing and the Cambodian Children's Fund to help homeless families get back on their feet.
