About the Position

REX is looking for a Recruiting Manager with technical recruiting experience to help drive hiring efforts for multiple job opportunities and various skill levels with an emphasis on sales and technical positions. This full-time position involves attracting potential candidates using various sources which include social media networks, recruiting sites, and other creative techniques. The Recruiting Manager will keep the process running smoothly, conduct screening interviews and reference checks, work with hiring managers on evolving needs and role definitions, make recommendations to management, and assist in closing candidates. The responsibilities of the REX Recruiting Manager are to ensure REX attracts, hires, and retains the highest quality team members. 

Responsibilities and Duties

With a deep understanding of the REX brand and our recruiting objectives, the Recruiting Manager will:

  • Establish recruiting goals by meeting with managers to discuss needs and establish tailored recruiting processes for each position
  • Manage multiple hiring pipelines for different hiring managers
  • Determine and implement optimal recruiting methods to maintain a highly qualified candidate pool, including using job search engines, social networks, job boards, LinkedIn, job fairs, internship programs, paid postings, and other tools
  • Be responsible for full recruitment life cycle
  • Develop and update job descriptions
  • Conduct technical and non-technical screenings
  • Actively source candidates as well as screen applicants
  • Manage data and workflows in our applicant tracking system
  • Thoroughly review and analyze applicants
  • Schedule and conduct phone and on-site interviews with hiring managers
  • Report recruiting metrics and results
  • Assist in negotiating compensation and closing candidates 
  • Ensure that all candidates have a positive experience while interviewing with REX

Qualifications and Skills

Our ideal candidate brings the following:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sourcing/recruiting sales and technical talent
  • Strong familiarity with online recruiting sites and ability to adapt to the latest tools
  • Experience conducting interviews and leading selection processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfort reaching out to strangers
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a network of technical professionals
  • Team player with a high sense of urgency and a go-getter attitude
  • Strong decision-making skills, highly organized and able to work independently
  • Keen intuition, able to read between the lines
  • Able to recognize talent that are highly knowledgeable and skilled in their field as well as fit the REX culture and value
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
  • Tech start-up experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent is required
