With the goal of improving the lives of homebuyers and sellers, REX created a digital platform and real estate service that eliminates traditional agent commissions, sells homes faster and shifts control away from agents over to those who matter most: consumers. Having proven the effectiveness of the REX model in 2015 and grown rapidly in 2016, REX is expanding nationwide in 2017.

As a part of our social mission, REX sets aside a portion of all income from selling homes to fund homes for families in dire need. It is our mission to contribute one home for every 40 homes we sell. We’ve started in Sihakouville, Cambodia, where we partnered with World Housing and the Cambodian Children’s Fund to help homeless families get back on their feet.

About the Position

REX is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic candidate for the Sales & Research Support position whose primary responsibility will be to carry out research and accurate data entry assignments. The individual will utilize multiple data and website sources to provide key services to homebuyers and sellers.  Additionally, the Sales & Research Support will assist the sales team in data acquisition efforts by compiling, preparing, and tracking property comparables as well as support the managing broker with daily sales tasks. This successful candidate is well-organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities and Duties

With a deep understanding of the REX brand, business model, and sales targets, the Sales & Research Support will:

  • Conduct research and prepare comparables for REX property listings
  • Accurately enter homebuyer and seller data into REX’s set of web-based tools
  • Develop graphs, tables, and other visuals for presentations
  • Ensure sales information is current by regularly maintaining and correcting data
  • Respond to requests for information in a timely manner
  • Contribute to sales operations and efforts by completing miscellaneous support tasks

Qualifications and Skills

Our ideal candidate brings the following:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in data entry or related field
  • Computer savvy with fast and accurate typing skills
  • Team-oriented and ability to effectively communicate with internal team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and web-based research; has experience with web-based collaboration and SAAS tools such as, Google hangouts, Google docs and able to rapidly learn the newest tools
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • A proven ability to accurately conduct research and collect data
  • Strong prioritization skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High energy and strong work ethic
  • Tech startup experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent is required
