About the Position

REX is looking for an in-house Junior Recruiter to help drive hiring efforts for multiple job opportunities and various skill levels with an emphasis on sales and technical positions. This full-time position involves attracting potential candidates using various sources which include social media networks and recruiting sites. The successful Junior Recruiter will thoroughly review candidates, conduct screening interviews, and will make recommendations to management. The responsibilities of the REX Junior Recruiter are to ensure REX attracts, hires, and retains the highest quality team members. 

Responsibilities and Duties

With a deep understanding of the REX brand and our recruiting objectives, the Junior Recruiter will:

  • Responsible for full recruitment life cycle
  • Establish recruiting goals by meeting with managers to discuss needs
  • Determine and implement optimal recruiting methods to maintain a highly qualified candidate pool
  • Develop and update job descriptions
  • Source the ideal candidates by posting job advertisements to appropriate job boards
  • Utilize job search websites to filter and identify prospective candidates
  • Thoroughly review and analyze resumes
  • Schedule and conduct phone and on-site interviews with hiring managers
  • Ensure that all candidates have a positive experience while interviewing with REX

Qualifications and Skills

Our ideal candidate brings the following:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in sourcing/recruiting sales and technical talent
  • Strong familiarity with online recruiting sites and ability to adapt to the latest tools
  • Experience conducting interviews and leading selection processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a network of technical professionals
  • Team player with a high sense of urgency and a go-getter attitude
  • Strong decision-making skills, highly organized and able to work independently
  • Keen intuition, able to read between the lines
  • Able to recognize talent that are highly knowledgeable and skilled in their field as well as fit the REX culture and value
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
  • Tech start-up experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent is required 

The REX Junior Recruiter is an entry level, full time, salaried position with advancement opportunities in a fast-growing tech start-up.

Social Mission

REX sets aside a portion of all income from selling homes to fund homes for families in dire need. It is our mission to contribute one home for every 40 homes we sell. We’ve started in Sihakouville, Cambodia, where we partnered with World Housing and the Cambodian Children’s Fund to help homeless families get back on their feet.
